Diagnostics

A diagnostic test is a type of medical test performed to aid in the diagnosis or detection of disease. Diagnostic testing is a vital part of detecting health problems and being able to treat them before they worsen.

Our hospital provides a wide variety of in-house diagnostic testing with the most state of the art technology available. It is our goal to provide your pet with the highest level of care possible, and our diagnostic tools help us do that.

Digital Radiology

At GCVC, we have digital radiology to allow us to obtain diagnostic images of your pet in seconds. We also have the ability to send off your pet’s radiographs to board certified specialists for second opinions in cases that require special treatments.

We now have the ability to perform dental radiographs to allow our doctors to see below your pet’s gumline and assess for dental health.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound provides high quality, detailed images of the soft tissue structures of the body.

We also have the ability to also aid in reproductive work and perform pregnancy checks.

Endoscopy
Veterinary endoscopy is an extremely useful procedure which aids in the diagnosis and treatment of problems occurring in the upper and lower gastrointestinal (GI) tracts. With an endoscope, we can perform a more complete examination of the GI tract, including the esophagus, stomach and some areas of the intestines.
