Dr. Brian Gordzelik
Dr. Brian Gordzelik has been practicing veterinary medicine for 22 years. He has owned the clinic on South Hobart for 18 years and will be the proud owner of our brand new clinic currently under construction on Price Rd in 2016-2017. He grew up in Pampa, Tx and graduated from Pampa High School. After high school, he attended Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated from in 1994. While he enjoys seeing patients and clients, his favorite part of his practice is surgery, particularly bone surgery. Dr G and his wife DeLynn have two children, Sarah and Kyle. He enjoys hunting and fishing and is trying to take up golf. They have two miniature schnauzers, a Brittany Spaniel, an English Setter, and a Siamese cat at home.
April Amador is our lead technician and plans to sit for her VTNE in the spring of 2017. She is a Pampa native. After she graduated from Pampa High in 2003, she moved to Lubbock where she attended Vista College. She graduated top of her class and earned her degree in Veterinary Technology. After working in Lubbock at Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital for years, she moved back to Pampa in 2015. April has 2 kids, Aymree and Ian, that her life revolves around. She also has 2 dogs and 2 cats. Norton, a pitbull mix, Piper, a french mastiff, Luna, a short-haired black cat, and Olive, a calico munchkin cat round out her crew. When she isn’t working, she likes to take road trips, go to concerts, cook outside, and sing. Her favorite parts of the job are surgery and performing dentals-the crazier, the better.
Katie Baggerman is our kennel manager at Gray County Vet. In college at Clarendon, she studied animal science and was on the ranch horse team. Her love of large animals started at a young age, as she has been showing livestock most of her life. She was raised in Miami, Tx but was away at college until 2012, when she decided to move back. Katie has worked at the clinic for 2 years as a large animal technician and loves working with horses. When she’s not working, she’s chasing her daughter, Zailee around, spending time with her 4 horses, or hanging out with her dachshund, Tucker. Katie is currently working on becoming a better team roper.
Riley Lindley, our kennel technician, is a high school senior that is planning to graduate in spring of 2017. After high school, she plans on fulfilling her dream of going into veterinary medicine. She loves the animals that she gets to work with on a daily basis and shows a special interest in surgical cases. Riley has 2 sisters; Aubreigh and Taylor, and a brother, Devin. When she isn’t working at the clinic, Riley likes to spend time with her parents, Kyle and Kala, listen to records, go to concerts,paint, sketch, and hang out with friends. At home, she has 3 dogs: Kahlua, a black lab, Shiner, a blue heeler/corgi, and Zeigen, a black lab/pit mix.
Ali Norris is the newest member of GCVC. She is a Pampa native and graduated in 2016 from PHS where she was involved in FFA and showed pigs. She loves spending time with the animals that come in and her favorite part of the job is learning something new everyday. Ali is very close with her family and likes to spend time with them as much as possible. She recently graduated dental assistant school and plans to continue her education in Amarillo.
DeLynn Gordzelik, our practice manager, was raised in Pampa, Tx and graduated from Pampa High School. She attended Texas A&M and graduated in 1990. WHOOP!! She and Brian have been married 30 years and have two children, Sarah, who will graduate in the summer of 2017 and attend Oklahoma State and Kyle, who is going into high school and plans to go to A&M like his parents. The Gordzelik’s also have several fur children who hang out at the clinic including 2 schnauzers, Ruby and Callie, several bird dogs, and a cat named Lilly. When she isn’t at the clinic, she likes to cook, travel, and spend time with her family.
Rita Barker lives in Skellytown where she spends her spare time with her family and her fellow Soldiers for Christ Motorcycle Ministry members. She has worked at Gray County Vet Clinic for 8 years, where she started as a technician and moved up to the front, where she is now, not only our receptionist, but more importantly, our office manager. She has learned every aspect of the clinic through hands on experience. She loves the pets and the people that she gets to see everyday. Rita is married to Jeff and she has 3 children; Marie, Dusty, and Logan.She has 3 furbabies. Pepper and Prissy are Chinese Cresteds and Trooper is a parvo surviving chocolate lab. Her greatest achievement in life is how far she has come and how much her life has changed for the better. All glory to God.
Crystal Keller-Hulsey is the newest member of the reception team. She was born and raised in Iowa and spent 10 years serving the public as an EMT, fire fighter, and EMS skills instructor. After a back injury, Crystal changed professions to be a concrete mixer driver and visited Pampa for a few winters. She fell in love with the town, but more importantly with her now husband Greg. She married Greg and expanded her family of 4, including herself, her daughters Bri and Brittany and her son, Tyler into a family of 8. Her step-daughters Keri, Katie, and Zoe round out her bunch. Crystal loves spending time with her family, hanging out at the lake, and loving on her fur babies, Lexi the pug and Anabelle the bassett hound. Her favorite part of her job is getting to meet all of our patients and interacting with the clients.
